Engineering for Kids - Summer Camps available In-person & Virtually

In-person Summer Camps
In-person summer camps will start June 8th! If you registered for a session that has been cancelled, keep an eye out for Engineering for Kids to contact you for a refund or reschedule. Any purchases for camp sessions that are cancelled by Engineering for Kids will be refunded in full. Scheduling decisions are based on Governor Sisolak's biweekly recommendations for re-opening businesses.

Virtual Reality, Video Production, Color Chemistry Lab, Hot Wheels, Save the World (Environmental) and much more!
 

Virtual Camps now available!
Weekly virtual courses beginning June 1st! Virtual Camps are capped at 8 students p/ session with a live video meeting hosted by our STEM instructors. These 90 minute daily sessions are suitable for kids entering 3rd to 8th grade in the fall.

Engineering for Kids is taking precautions to keep your kids safe!

Here are some of the most notable changes:

  • Lowered enrollments caps to ensure safety
    • Camps in June will be limited to 8 per class.
    • Camps in July and beyond will be limited to 12 or higher (pending CDC and State Guidelines).
    • Breaks for each class will run on separate tracks to minimize physical interaction between the two classes.
  • Full day camp sessions only.
  • Student drop-off and pick up will be outside.
  • Sanitizing all touchpoints and camp materials routinely.
  • Students and Staff required to follow strict safety procedures such as:
    • Scan body temperature on entry each day.
    • Wash hands routinely and always have full access to hand sanitizer.
    • No group projects (students will be provided with individual sets of tools and supplies).
    • Activities that promoted proximity or communal materials (such as the Lego wall, magnetic ramps) will be replaced with individually allocated construction toys and puzzles.
    • Food consumption in individual, designated areas.
    • Staff mandated to wear face masks.
  • For the month of June ONLY, we are not offering camps for children younger than 7 (6-year-olds who turn 7 by September 2020 will be allowed to participate).
  • While enhanced safety measures are being taken at Engineering for Kids Las Vegas, by attending our summer camps and classes, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
