As a teacher I adore Eric Carle books. The drawings are vibrant, the stories are attention grabbing, and each tale has a lesson. Now the classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar has been brought to life on stage at the Smith Center.
The show features 75 brightly-colored, handcrafted puppets, and brings to life four of Eric Carle’s most iconic children’s books: “Brown Bear, Brown Bear,” “10 Little Rubber Ducks,” “The Very Lonely Firefly” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.” The show’s creators, acclaimed Rockefeller Productions, worked directly with Carle on crafting the production’s props and storyline, targeted to entertain children and adults alike. This show is best for kids 2 to 7. The show is in town for ONE NIGHT ONLY, Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 6:30 pm. Tickets range from $14.95-$24.95 and can be purchased here.
