MK NW Las Vegas' Summer Travels to Seattle and Denver

Your Publisher Note

Hey guys!

There are THREE weeks left of summer vacation! That means there is still time to squeeze in a summer camp, take a roadtrip, and have a date night. It also means that Back to School fairs have begun! The first back to school fair will be this weekend at Downtown Summerlin from 10-4 pm. They always have great resources so it's worth checking out.

We sent the kids to visit their aunt and uncle in the Seattle area yesterday. It never gets easy to see your kiddos go somewhere without you but sending them on their first plane ride together by themselves was intense... for us! Haha Monkey was like "Ok bye! Let's go Sister!!" He was so excited and independent. They've only been gone a day but I feel like I've talked to them just as much as if they were here between updates from my brother and sister in law, phone calls and FaceTime. This week's newsletter has tips for traveling with a special needs kiddo but I think these tips apply well to traveling with kids. Let me know if you'd be interested in hearing about how to get your child setup to fly on their own.

While the kids are away The Husband and I decided to take a weekend date, of course Gummie Bear will be with us but it still counts! We are headed to Denver! We've never been and are so excited to explore. Did you know that Macaroni Kid is national? We used the Denver and Seattle area Macaroni Kid editions to plan some of our fun this weekend. Make sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube and look s up with #MKLVSummer2018

The calendar has lots of fun events for this upcoming week. If you know of something going on in the community and would like to share please let me know! Listing in the calendar is always FREE!

Have a safe weekend full of family fun!
