Fireworks, Parades and Events to Celebrate Independence Day

With Independence Day falling on a Tuesday this year the festivities are beginning over the weekend. To catch some of the fireworks shows you'll need to plan to be out on Sunday, July 2. Here is your list of parades, festivals and fireworks throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Morning Festivities
 Annual Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade
July 4th 9-11 am
       Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the many floats, giant inflatable balloons, marching bands and kid's characters celebrating Independence Day. Parade begins at Hillpointe Rd and Hills Center Dr and ends at Trailwood Dr.

     This year there will be a Parade Courtesy Shuttle running from 7 a.m. to noon. Park at Downtown Summerlin and ride to the parade start location. Riders will have a chance to win gift cards and festive items. 

All Day & Evening Festivals
The LINQ Promenade
July 1 - July 2nd beginning at noon 
Family fun with live entertainment! Kick off the festivities with a patriotic parade featuring baton twirlers, flag performers, stilt walkers, b-boy dancers and hula hoop performers. The parade begins on Las Vegas Blvd and ends at the Fountain Stage. Family friendly activities include balloon artists, face painters, caricature artists, games and live music. At 6 p.m. kick off the night with an LED drumline!


Red, White & Wild at Wet'n'Wild Las Vegas  
July 1st and 2nd 10:30 a.m-10 p.m. (free with park entry)
Enjoy an unforgettable celebration filled with country music, foam parties, line dancing, barbecue, mechanical bull riding and fireworks

Lake Las Vegas 
July 2nd 2pm-10:00pm
        Celebrate with live music, sidewalk sales, BBQ station, water activities, kid's stations and fireworks at 9 pm. Free to attend


69th Annual Boulder City Damboree Celebration 
July 4th 7 am-11 pm

       The celebration is all over Boulder City beginning with a pancake breakfast at 7 am at Bicentennial Park (1100 Colorado St). Parade follows at 9am beginning on Colorado Street and ending at Broadbent Memorial Park. Festivities at Broadbent Park (1301 5th St) include midway booths, food, drinks, and games will go from 10am - 4pm. Veteran's Memorial Park (1650 Buchanan Blvd) will hold its party from 4 - 11 pm. Fireworks are scheduled for 9 pm.

City of Henderson 4th of July Celebration 
July 4th 6-9 pm
        Enjoy a night of family fun. Live music begins at 6 pm with fireworks at 9 pm in Heritage Park (350 E. Racetrack Rd, Henderson). 

Liberty Festival of Pahrump 
July 4th 6am - 9:30 pm
          Festivities at Petrack Park include entertainment, family friendly activities, music, and food. Fireworks end the celebration with Southern Nevadas longest fireworks show at 9pm. 

Las Vegas 51s Game  
July 4th at 7pm (start at $16/ticket)
Celebrate Independence Day with America's favorite past time and enjoy fireworks after the game.

Lake Las Vegas - Sunday, July 2nd at 9 p.m.

Las Vegas 51's Baseball Game - Tuesday, July 4th at after the 7:05 p.m. game. Tickets start at $16

Stations Casinos -  Wristbands may be required to enter resort viewing areas - July 4 at 9 p.m
