This week is Teacher and Nurse appreciation week! Make sure to send a note of thanks to your child's teacher and call the favorite nurse in your life to let them know you appreciate all that they do.

Monday, May 4, we are bringing awareness to Heterotaxy Syndrome, a rare and complicated disorder that affects 1 in 10,000 babies. Learn more about it in this week's article and share your knowledge to help spread the word!

Tuesday is Cinco de Mayo, celebrate at Downtown Container Park by making pinatas or at home with traditional paper flowers, instructions in this week's newsletter.

If you are looking for the perfect indoor party space, check out the article about Extra Innings Batting Cages. They're hitting birthday parties out of the park!

Remember to check the Event Calendar throughout the week, I'm always adding events! Connect with me on Facebook, InstaGram, and Twitter to keep up with all the exciting events for kids and families in Summerlin and NW Las Vegas!

Enjoy your week!
