Will You Eat it with a Goat?

Dr. Seuss inspired breakfast

Green Eggs and Ham is a simple recipe and one of Dr. Seuss' most beloved stories of trying new things, you might just like it! I've made green eggs and ham several times over the years. Fair warning, some kids are thrown off by the color but that's a perfect opportunity to read the book!

What You Need
Eggs
Presliced Ham (usually comes in a 4-6 pack)
Green Food Coloring
Optional - seasoning, spinach, broccoli
The book Green Eggs and Ham

If you've never scrambled an egg, it's simple. Crack the egg into a bowl and whisk, I usually use a fork to break the yolk. I add chopped spinach and sometimes broccoli, might as well get in as many vegetables as I can, into the bowl. Some people like to add salt or pepper, if you do add them to the bowl. Remember to add in food coloring! I let my kids add the food coloring since they love to see the eggs change color. Then pour into your pan and cook over medium high heat until fully cooked.
Put the ham over heat in another pan and warm a couple minutes on each side.

It takes less than 15 minutes and you have a Seusstastic way to start your day!

"You do not like them. So you say.
Try them! Try them! And you may.
Try them and you may, I say."
