As you know I LOVE Halloween. The decorating, costume choosing, candy bowls, and general silly spirit make me so happy. A colleague recently showed me the Super Simple Spooky Zombies and Mummies so we had to make our own.
They are made completely out of supplies that are on hand at home but you can fancy it up with googly eyes or accessories. This activity is great for developing, or working on, fine motor skills. It takes anywhere from 5-30 minutes depending on the size of your character and tape strips.
Supplies
*Cardboard Box (I used a cereal box)
*Pencil
*Scissors
*Markers
*Masking Tape
*Optional - Googly Eyes and accessories
Step 1 - Cut the carboard box open so that it lays flat
Step 2 - Draw your Mummy/Zombie shape. It does not need to be perfect, just a general shape
Step 3 - Cut out your spooky shape
Step 4 - Rip off Small Pieces of Tape
Step 5 - Stick the pieces of tape all over your Mummy/Zombie
Step 6 - Give your spooky creation a face
